Whats the fuel exchanger can called on an 1988 ford f-250?
1988 ford f-250 351 windsor, dual tanks, triple fuel pumps. On the frame rail, in front of both tanks, but behind the high pressure pump there is a canister that allows both the tanks fuel and return lines combine into a single set of lines. I believe mine is restricting fuel flow and needs replaced. What is this part called? I have replaced the middle tank pump, high pressure pump, and fuel filter and am not getting adequate pressure at the fuel rail. I get more fuel flow from the intake line going into this canister than i do from the exhaust line on the canister so my only thinking is that its clogged. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
