Pregnant and with asthma?

I just recently found out that I'm pregnant (less then ten weeks, approximately) and recently, my asthma has been flaring up. I have a canister of Albuterol, however, it's been so rare that I actually use it that it's expired. I don't have health insurance or a regular doctor, so I can't exactly ask for more. I've read around that Albuterol is safe to use during pregnancy, but still haven't talked to any doctor about it. Now my question is, if I'm having a hard time breathing, should I go ahead and use the expired Albuterol or try to make an appointment with a doctor? Please keep in mind that if I were to make an appointment at a hospital, it'd have to be county because of my lack of insurance, and it'd probably be at least two weeks away, and by then, I'll have probably passed out at work, lol.
