I have an out of control flea problem! How can I get them out of the house? What are the best methods?

We got an 8 wk old kitten 4 days ago. My friend told me she noticed fleas. Vet confirmed it. All 4 cats were treated with Frontline Plus. I sprayed Adams flea spray all over the couches and beds and washed all of the bedding. Tomorrow I'm going to vacuum with moth balls in the canister as directed by a friend. We are going away for a few days and leaving kitties here so does anyone have any other suggestions that would take care of it before we left? PLEASE HELP!!!!
