I have a 55 gallon aquarium currently supporting two marineland 350 bio-wheel filters. I have had the filters for 3 years now and want to switch to a canister. I am currently leaning towards the Eheim filters. If I choose a filter that is for up to 160 gallons, would that be too much? How much over can you go and still be safe? My tank is FULLY stocked! If not slightly or more over stocked. I have 5 angels, 1 rainbow shark, 1 african feather fin catfish, a ghost knife and 2 long fin barbs. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
